Outreach Spotlight

C’est L’amour

On February 26, BLW University of Manitoba transformed the campus into a runway. C’est L’amour featured several Christian clothing brands and drew 110 attendees — 61 of them first timers stepping into a LoveWorld atmosphere for the very first time!

The result? Five precious souls gave their hearts to Christ before the night was over. Fashion became a pulpit, and the love of God was displayed in living colour. Glory to God!

Recharge Room: Peace over Pressure

Right in the thick of exam season, BLW University of Manitoba opened the Recharge Room on March 27 — a haven of peace for students carrying the pressure of the semester. 61 students came through, 27 of them first timers.

Seven souls were born again and two were filled with the Holy Spirit! What began as a moment of rest became a moment of rebirth. Praise God!

Crusade

UNASHAMED

In one bold, coordinated day — April 5 — UNASHAMED went live across five campuses at once: the Universities of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatchewan and Memorial University of Newfoundland. 68 students gathered across the sub-region to declare the Gospel without apology.

From Winnipeg came a testimony of one soul born again and filled with the Holy Spirit on the spot. One day, five campuses, one unashamed message. Hallelujah!

Freshman Workshop

At Memorial University of Newfoundland, BLW went straight to the newest students on campus. The Freshman Workshop on May 15 welcomed 22 attendees — and an astonishing 20 of them were first timers!

Nearly every seat in the room was a brand-new face, and one precious soul was born again. This is how a campus is won: one freshman class at a time. Glory!

Growth Story

A Taste of LoveWorld — and a fellowship on fire

On March 31, BLW University of Lethbridge served the campus A Taste of LoveWorld — 36 attendees, 16 first timers, and 3 souls born again in one glorious evening!

It is no surprise. Lethbridge has been one of the great growth stories of the year, surging from 97 members in November to 171 by May — a 76% increase. The fellowship keeps setting the table, and the campus keeps coming hungry. Praise God!

IGNITE: Hearts on Fire

BLW University of Regina lit a flame on March 29 with IGNITE: Hearts on Fire. Of the 26 students who attended, 17 were first timers — two out of every three faces in the room were new!

One student was filled with the Holy Spirit that night, and a new circle of campus friendships with the Gospel at the centre was born. The fire in Regina is burning. Hallelujah!

Training Spotlight

The Manifest Camp

For three days — May 8 to 10 — 24 leaders from across Central pulled away for The Manifest Camp: an immersion in the Word, prayer and vision for the second half of the year.

The camp crowned a full season of equipping in Central: the Leaders Summit in March, Easter Leaders Training in April, group leaders’ and coordinators’ meetings — 122 training attendances in all across the group. Leaders are being made, and the harvest will show it. Glory to God!

Pioneering

A new work at U of T St. George

In January, Bro Tamilore Adeboyejo planted the flag at the University of Toronto St. George — Canada’s largest campus — and BLW UTSG was born. From a single member in November, the fellowship has grown to 17, with a highest attendance of 21!

By April 18 the young fellowship was already reaching outward: the UTSG Outreach drew 27 students, welcomed 5 first timers, and saw 2 souls born again — with 9 souls won recorded by June. A fellowship that began this year is already winning its campus. Praise God!

On to a Complete Year

We give all the glory to God for what He has wrought in these first months of the Year of Completeness: 336 more members than we began with, 925 souls reached with the saving Gospel, five brand-new fellowships planted from Toronto to Prince Edward Island, and a workforce of over one hundred labouring in the harvest. Every number on this page is a name, a life, a testimony — and we are grateful to our dear Man of God and to every leader, pastor and member who made it so.

And yet we are only halfway. The second half of the year stretches before us as an open field — campuses yet to be entered, freshmen yet to be met, souls yet to be won and established in Foundation School. We press on with joy, expecting a complete harvest, complete growth and a complete year. The best is ahead. Glory to God!

Notes on the numbers

  1. The University of Manitoba souls figure (402) was flagged by the region as significantly overstated; the headline souls total is pending regional verification.
  2. Souls columns were reported on differing month conventions across groups (baselines in Nov/Dec; latest-month reports in May/June).
  3. The West membership snapshot runs to May 2026; Central and Central East run to June 2026.
  4. Some June workforce cells were not reported in Central East, so those counts are floors.
  5. Foundation School graduations are taken from a region note (7 graduated at the University of Manitoba on January 26); column data was incomplete.
  6. Group totals are computed from individual fellowship rows; out-of-date TOTAL rows in the source sheets were ignored.
  7. Program figures were deduplicated across the three regional workbooks; regional programs are counted once.
